Professor of Theoretical Physics at Mansoura University since 2010, Head of the Theoretical Research Group in the Physics Department (2021), and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Education and Student Affairs since November 1, 2023. He received his PhD from the University of Stuttgart, Germany (internal scholarship, 1999–2001), and then conducted postdoctoral research at the Plasma Physics Group at the University of Innsbruck, Austria (2006–2007). Published more than 60 international research papers in indexed journals, 70% are in the Q1 category. He has participated in numerous international and national research projects. He has supervised 17 Master's theses and 7 PhD dissertations. He is the founding president of the Mansoura University CERN Partnership Team, a member of the Board of Directors of the High Energy Physics Center at Fayoum University, and the rapporteur of the Education and Awareness Group at the Arab Physics Society (ARPS). Organized several summer schools in advanced physics (Zewail City, British University in Port Said), served on the editorial board of the journal "Paths in Physics," and contributed to science simplification and events at the Cairo International Book Fair 2025. Founder of the Science Coffee Forum in the Physics Department, Faculty of Science, and coordinator of several scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship forums at Mansoura University (2023–2025). Received numerous prestigious awards, including the State Incentive Award (2004), the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Scientists (2005 – Jordan), and the Amin Lotfy Award from the Academy of Scientific Research.
