Prof. Ali Bilal Ali

(Rapporteur)

Dr. Ali Belal Ali Abou Hammad is an Associate Professor at the National Research Centre (NRC), Institute of Physics Research, Egypt. He specializes in solid-state physics and the development of advanced nanostructured materials for dielectric, magnetic, ferroelectric, optoelectronic, and environmental applications.

Dr. Abou Hammad earned his Ph.D. in Solid-State Physics from Al-Azhar University in 2016, following an M.Sc. from Helwan University and a B.Sc. from Benha University. His research focuses on synthesizing and engineering inorganic and organic nanomaterials using sol–gel and polymerization techniques, and on studying their structural, dielectric, optical, and magnetic properties.

He has authored 99 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to book chapters, and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals. He is also an active reviewer for major journals in materials science and physics.

Dr. Abou Hammad has received notable distinctions, including the State Encouragement Award in Physics (2019) and recognition among the Top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University (2022–2024). He is involved in multiple funded research projects as a Principal Investigator and a member. His professional memberships include APS, IOP, Eg-MRS, and the Egyptian National Committee of Physics.
