Dr. Amany Mohamed El Nahrawy is a Professor at the National Research Centre (NRC), Institute of Physics Research, Egypt. She earned her Ph.D. in Physics from Mansoura University in 2011, following her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from Ain Shams University. Her research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of advanced nanostructured materials, including thin films, powders, and polymer-based nanocomposites, using sol–gel and polymerization techniques for ferroelectric, electromagnetic, optoelectronic, environmental, and biomedical applications.
Throughout her career, Dr. El Nahrawy has authored more than 130 Scopus-indexed publications and contributed to numerous national research projects as principal investigator and team member. Her scientific contributions have earned her significant recognition, including the NRC Institute of Physics Research Pioneer Award (2022) and her listing among the Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide by Stanford University (2022). She continues to play an active role in developing cutting-edge nanomaterials and advancing interdisciplinary research within Egypt and internationally.
